Refuge: A Triumph in Tulsa (2021)

Synopsis: It's believed that the massacre in Greenwood left over 3,000 people dead, destroying one of America's most prosperous black neighborhoods and its famous Black Wall Street. More than 1,400 homes were destroyed and over 10,000 people were left homeless. And still, the Tulsa Race Massacre was hardly written into the history books until the late 90s. We will never truly know the traumatic, social, and financial impact on the generations that followed, but we have an opportunity to heal and grow from it. America's first and only promise as a country was Refuge. We aim to help make sure that promise is fulfilled for everyone.
